I didn’t plan for this to turn into what it is now.
When I first started out, it was just me, building huge instrumental orchestrations in my home studio. No vocals, no lyrics, only emotion turned into sound. I dropped my first album Crash Test in 2020, and that opened a door I didn’t even know existed.

Since then, I’ve been writing more songs that tell stories, my stories, through lyrics. Along the way I’ve had the chance to play with some incredibly talented people like Jay Fabbri on bass, Byron Cage and Danny Capucilli on drums, and Deyquan Bowens on keys and synth. I’ve also been part of more than 25 albums, earned four SAMMY Awards with Atkins Riot and The Jess Novak Band, and opened for artists like Marcus King, Marc Rebillet, and Dylan Schneider.

Truth is, I’ve played so many shows I’ve lost count. I’ve had the honor of playing for crowds of thousands of people with other projects like The Jess Novak Band, Atkins Riot, and several other bands I’ve been hired to perform with. And this project is next on the list to be doing the same. Every stage has taught me something new about who I am and what I want to say with my music.

People tell me I remind them of Hozier or John Mayer, sometimes Billy Joel or Jimi Hendrix. I take it as the highest compliment, but I don’t chase anyone’s sound. I chase honesty. I chase the feeling that made me fall in love with music in the first place.

Offstage, other than writing or learning new music, I’m usually on a trail somewhere, hiking or running to clear my head. I love reading and watching stories that make me think - sci-fi, horror, comedy, mystery, or anything with meaning. When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me painting or creating something new just for the sake of creating.

If you ever wonder what makes my music different, it’s simple: every note you hear is played and sung by real people. Real instruments. Real emotion.
